On August 9th, 2025, the Nigerian Community Skåne (NCS) had the honor of hosting His Excellency, Ambassador T.A. Elias-Fatile , Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Nigeria in Sweden., during his official visit to Malmö. The visit marked a significant moment for Nigerians in the Skåne region, strengthening ties between the Nigerian diaspora and the homeland.
The Ambassador was warmly received by NCS leadership, community members, and friends of Nigeria. The gathering provided an opportunity to discuss key issues affecting Nigerians in Sweden, explore avenues for collaboration, and celebrate the cultural heritage that unites the community.
In his remarks, the Ambassador commended the NCS for its efforts in fostering unity, supporting members, and promoting Nigeria’s image abroad. He also reaffirmed the embassy’s commitment to engaging with and assisting Nigerians across Sweden.
